Héctor Vega, de 56 años, de South Chicago Heights, falleció pacíficamente el viernes 4 de octubre de 2024 rodeado de su familia. Amado esposo de María Guadalupe Vega. Amado padre de Oscar Vega, Cristian Vega y Celeste Vega. Querido abuelo de Roman Vega y C.J. Vega. Querido hermano de Ángel (María) Vega, Manuel (Rosa) Vega, Pedro (Marlene) Vega y Fidel (Fabiola) Vega Jr. Tío cariñoso de muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Consejo y Fidel Vega Sr. y sus hermanos José (Bárbara) Vega, Salvador (Raquel) Vega y Gloria (Gilberto) Villafuerte. Todos los que lo conocieron y amaron extrañarán profundamente a Héctor.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 17 de octubre de 2024 de 3:00 a 8:00 p. m. en Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois, 60475. Hector Vega, age 56, of South Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully Friday, October 4, 2024.  Beloved husband of Maria Guadalupe Vega. Loving father of Oscar Vega, Cristian Vega and Celeste Vega; Cherished grandfather of Roman Vega and C.J. Vega.  Dear brother of Angel (Maria) Vega, Manuel (Rosa) Vega, Pedro (Marlene) Vega and Fidel (Fabiola) Vega Jr.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Consejo and Fidel Vega Sr. and his siblings Jose (Barbara) Vega, Salvador (Raquel) Vega and Gloria (Gilberto) Villafuerte. Hector will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation to be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois, 60475.
