Helen E. Layton nee Mahin, age 96, late of Homewood, IL, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Paul L. Layton. Devoted mother of Janice (late Harry D.) Kut and Barbara (Robert) Gunderson. Proud grandmother of Kimberly (Rick Brizek) Kut, Kris (Garrett) Ponciroli, Kory (David) Borough and the late Sandra Kut-Garcia; Great-grandmother of Andrew (Meredith) Garcia, Tiffanie Garcia and Gavin Ponciroli; Great-great-grandmother of Cierra Midolo. Dear sister of the late Patrick Mahin and late John Jack (late Ruth) Mahin. Preceded in death by her loving parents John B. and Mildred Mahin.
