Helen Olthoff

Helen Olthoff, nee Maodush, age 92, of Olympia Fields, IL formerly of Thornton, IL passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019.  Beloved wife of the late George Olthoff.  Loving mother of Jack (Susan) Olthoff and the late Kenneth George Olthoff.  She was also preceded in death by her parents Milos and Smiljana (nee Petkovich) Maodush and her brothers and sisters: Daniel (Tena) Maodush, Marie (Steve) Yerkovich, Bertha (Roy) Cofran, Milan (Olga) Maodush, Mildred (Homer) Lefler, George (Shirley) Maodush, Ann (John) Bielawski, Marko Maodush and Nichola Maodush.  Dear aunt of many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Visitation, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St., South Holland, IL with Rev. Diane Maodush-Pitzer officiating.  Interment Washington Memory Gardens - Homewood, IL.  Mrs. Olthoff had a passion for baking and was well known for her cakes and breads.  She was loved by many and will be missed.
