Helen A. Van Drunen

Helen A. Van Drunen, nee Frieling, age 85, of Dyer, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, June 21, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Van Drunen. Loving mother of Glenn Van Drunen, Janet (Mark) Tillema, and Roger (Tracy) Van Drunen. Proud grandmother of Abby and Allison Tillema; Andrew Keneson; and Grace and Philip Van Drunen. Dearest sister of Donald (Jan) Frieling, Marlene (John) Schoon, Shirley (Pete) Schurman, Kenneth (Shari) Frieling, Nancy (late Robert) Hoffman, Beverly (Edwin) Rozendal, Linda (Harold) Bell, and the late Robert (late Nellie) Frieling. Loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Menno and Alice Frieling.

Visitation Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church (3500 Glenwood Lansing Rd. Lansing, IL). Funeral service Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel CRC with Rev. Cal Aardsma officiating.
