Helen C. Walsh age 100 of Steger, IL passed away at her home on Saturday January 3rd. Helen is survived by a Son William L. (Cecilia Carlson ) Walsh and a Daughter Janice (James) Hicks. She is also survived by 7 Granddaughters: Lori Moeller, Janet Walsh, Laurel Carlson, Lynne (Carl) Schnepf, Marjorie (Steve) Gibson, Catherine (Patrick) Moran and Beth (Thane) Phelps. 3 grandsons James M. Hicks, David Walsh and Scott (Monica) Walsh. One sister Alice Reed. Helen was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Thomas Zang and by her sisters Loretta Stork, Marie Parker, Lucille Zang and Grace Chica. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Jan. 7th at 11:30 A.M. at St. Liborius Catholic Church 35th St. and Halsted Blvd. Steger. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre in Worth, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 6th from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.
