Henry "Hank" Lenting, age 67, of Cedar Lake, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Marcella Lenting nee Vander Zee; loving father of Michael (Tina) Lenting, Matthew (Amy) Lenting; Cherished grandfather of Madeline, Karen, Sara, Amanda, Jacob, and Anna Lenting; Dear brother of William (Jan) Lenting, Adrian Lenting, and the late Carolyn (Marvin) Davis. Visitation Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311 with Rev. David Weemhoff officiating. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Highland Christian School or Crown Point Christian School. Mr. Lenting was a U.S. Army Veteran.
