Henry J. Zandstra Jr., age 73, of Chicago Heights, IL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 17, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Joanne Zandstra, nee Huizenga. Loving father of Steven Zandstra, Ryan (Melanie) Zandstra, Laura (Jeff) Lakin, and Amber (Brian) Lenting. Devoted grandfather of eleven grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean (Al) Buiter, Barbara (Chester) Hunter, Sharon (Art) Van Baren, Cindy (Steve) Dees and the late Mary Zandstra. Visitation Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Crete Protestant Reformed Church (1777 E. Richton Rd., Crete, IL). Funeral Service, Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Crete Protestant Reformed Church with services conducted by Rev. Nathan Langerak. A burial will take place prior to the service at 9:00a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.
