Herbert J. Wilken, Age 87 of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully October 10, 2016. Beloved husband of Carmella Wilken nee Petrilli. Loving father of Jeff (Debra) Wilken. Special friend to Fran Steinkamp. Herbert was preceded in death by siblings; Leslie and Alberta. Herbert was a proud US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Herbert enjoyed tinkering on Classic and Antique cars and attending and participating in cruise nights and car shows. Visitation, Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00 until time of funeral service 11;00 a.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois.
