Herman A Becker

Herman A. Becker "Barney", age 94 of Steger, Illinois, passed away May 3, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Becker. Loving father of Michelle (Darrell) Heldt, Kathleen (Brian) Wilson and Patricia (Ronald) Techau. Cherished grandfather of Derrick, Miranda, Daynen, Darren, Margaret, Kevin, Ashlee, Michael and Luke. Herman was preceded in death his siblings; Edward, Roy, Ruth and Wilbert. Herman retired after 30 years of service as a trooper with the Illinois State Police and also 9 years as a security guard at St. James Hospital. He was also a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Steger VFW and the Fraternal Order of Police.
