Chapman Herman A Chapman, age 83, of Grant Park, IL, passed away January 13, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Chapman nee Bergstrom. Loving father of David Chapman, William Chapman and Daniel (Valerie) Chapman. Cherished grandfather of eight. Memorial service Sunday January 20, 2013 12:00 p.m. at Crete Reformed Church (24755 South Country Lane Crete, IL). Interment at Union Corners Cemetery - Grant Park, IL. Mr. Chapman was a graduate of Northwestern University, Korean War Army Veteran, founding member of the Crete Reformed Church, in 1961 founded Sunrise Health Foods and he served on the board of directors at the Bible League for 60 years, 34 of those years as chairman. Herman spent his life loving people and serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Bible League appreciated.
