Beloved husband of Tekla Thea Ausema, nee Kap; loving father of David (Ruth) Ausema and Susan (Steven) Van Poolen; proud grandfather of Kathryn, Pieter, Caroline and the late Brandt Ausema, and Eliza and Lola Van Poolen; dearest brother of Connie(John) Janke, Ruth(Terry) Hofmeyer, and Joyce (Don) Greenfield. Mr. Ausema was owner and partner of Chesterfield Awning in South Holland, IL since 1958 and was a member of Living Springs Community Church in Glenwood, IL. Visitation Monday, January 25, 2010 from 3:00 " 7:00 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL. Visitation also on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Living Springs Community Church,19051 S. Halsted St., Glenwood, IL from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with services conducted by Rev. Chris Spoor and Rev. Dave Izenbart.
