Howard L. Reynolds, age 71, of Schererville passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Beloved husband of Paula Reynolds nee Garrison. Devoted father of Brett (Sandy) Reynolds and Cindy Reynolds. Proud grandfather of Kristen Ellis, Alison Reynolds, Emily and Cody Marsh. Dear brother of Gary (Dartera) Reynolds, Darrell (Jenny) Reynolds, Bill Reynolds, and Debbie (Michael) Coleman. Brother-in-law of Tracey Reynolds and James Garrison. Son-in-law of Mildred Garrison. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Opal Reynolds, his sister Marilyn Reynolds, brother Michael Reynolds, brother-in-law Scott Garrison and his father-in-law Walter Garrison. Visitation Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311. Private Interment. Mr. Reynolds was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed his retirement spending time with family and friends, playing golf and darts, and tailgating with his neighbors.
