Howard A. Tremblay, age 82, of South Holland, IL passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Beloved husband of Jean M. Tremblay nee Stevenson. Devoted father of Carol (Jerry) Bartos, Beverly Bobbi (Mark) Zbylut and Susan (Thomas) Chmielewski. Proud grandfather of Tom and Tim Chmielewski and Dan Fanelli, Kristie (Kevin) Hutchinson and Karen Fanelli; Great-grandfather of Hannah and Kaitlyn. Dear brother of Beatrice Tripodi and Pauline (Don) Parry. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Louise Tremblay. Visitation Monday, February 7, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St) South Holland, IL 60473 with Rev. Tom Archer officiating. Interment Private. Howard was an avid pinochle player who enjoyed spending time with his many card playing friends.
