Irene S. Kortum, nee Dillabough, age 92, of Carbondale, IL passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Melvin Kortum Sr.  Loving mother of Marsha (Mark Winters) Kortum, Julie (Dan) Bolan, Melvin (Denise) Kortum Jr., David (Lisa) Kortum and the late Cynthia Kortum. Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents David and Nora Dillabough and 4 sisters.
