Irene A. Wagner, nee Pietrucha, age 85, of Monee, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Frank Wagner. Loving mother of Glenn (Theresa) Wagner, Cindy Wagner, Linda (Bob) Kaucher, Pamela (Louis) Wortel, Mark (Michelle) Wagner and James Wagner. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of five sisters and one brother. Cherished godmother of 4 godchildren and devoted aunt of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Irene was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Visitation Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois. Prayer service, Thursday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home leaving for a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. James Catholic Church 22400 Torrence Ave, Sauk Village, IL.Interment private.
