Isabel Garcia Puente, age 96, of Sauk Village, Illinois, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Beloved husband of Sofia C. Puente. Loving father of the late Jaime (Nola) Puente and Cynthia (Daniel) Garcia. Cherished grandfather of Michelle (Jason) Weeks, Adrian Puente, Reyna (Christopher) Styles, Neicy (Charlie) O’Malley, Cory Matczak, David (the late Leslie) Garcia, Daniel (Justine) Garcia, Jacob Garcia and Aaron Garcia. Great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Desmond, Ez, Sophia, Elijah, Myah, Emma Grace, Emily, Gwen, Owen, and Mila. Dear brother of Juanita Garcia. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his 4 siblings and his parents Paulina and Francisco Puente. Isabel will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation to be held Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois 60475. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at All Souls Catholic Parish, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL 60438.
