Isabel Salazar, age 88, of Chicago Heights, IL passed away peacefully February 23, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Hipolito Salazar. Loving mother of Maria (Jose) Iribarren, Frank (Maria E.) Salazar, Irene (Paul) Lopez, Jose (Guadalupe) Salazar and Maria Luisa Alvarado. Cherished grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Dear sister of Elisa Rivera and Rodolfo Rivera. Preceded in death by siblings; Jose Rivera, Jesus Rivera, Juanita Aranda and parents Jose and Anastacia Rivera. Visitation Friday, February 26, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL. Prayer service, Saturday February 27, 2016 at 9:15 am from Steger Memorial Chapel to St. Paul Catholic Church in Chicago Heights, IL for 10:00 am Mass. Interment at Calvary Cemetery - Steger, IL.
