Jack L. Hallett, age 83, of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Beloved husband of Barbara Hallett nee Finch. Devoted father of Deborah (Donald) Musser, Scott (Donna) Hallett, Kimberly (Jack Emslander) Hallett, and the late Jacqueline Hallett. Proud grandfather of six; great-grandfather of seven. Dear brother of the late Bill (Corine) and the late Tom (late June) Hallett. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN 46311 with services conducted by Dr. John Sullivan. Interment Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates Cemetery - Lemont, IL. Mr. Hallett was known internationally as one of the three founding brothers of Hallett and Sons Expert Movers, Inc.
