Jacoba G. Stevens, nee Dykstra, age 89, of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully Sunday, April 21, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Stevens. Devoted mother of Robert (Sarah) Stevens, Luanne (John) Alderden, and the late Sandra (Kurt) Veld. Proud grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of two. Dear sister of the late Bill (late Marilyn) Dykstra, Jeannette (late Bob) Fischer, Cornelia Dykstra, Helen (John) Bakker, and the late James Dykstra. Also preceded in death by her parents Lucas and Grace Dykstra.

Visitation Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN with Rev. Alfonzo Surrett officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL.
