Schimke, Jacqueline F. (Nee Gruberman) found eternal peace on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the age of 79, reuniting with her beloved husband Arthur. Loving and proud mother of Kathy (Rob) Barton, Jeff, Barbara, Julia (Todd)Kerkhoven. Cherished grandmother of Joshua (Barton) and Katelyn Schimke/Orlos. Further survived by sister; Ruth, nephew; Steve Poniatowski. Lifelong resident of Steger, many will remember her smiling face as administrative secretary to the Dean of Education at Governors State University 1980-1999. Memorial visitation Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 12:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois.
