James Allen Ashmore, age 73, of South Holland, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Beloved Husband of Judy Ashmore, nee Bodie. Loving father of James M. (Vickie) Ashmore and Jill (Shawn) Giggey. Cherished grandfather of Natalia, Nikola, James G., Hannah, Ethan, and Shawn, Jr. Dear brother of the late Grace (Willard) Montgomery and brother-in-law of Martin (Marian) Bodie and Raymond(Donna) Bodie. Kind uncle of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Calvary Community Church (16341 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL.) with Rev. Alfonzo Surrett officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL. Mr. Ashmore was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired South Holland Police Sergeant.
