James “Jim” H. Briggs Jr., age 54, of Steger, IL. Passed away peacefully November 28, 2018. Beloved husband of Kathleen Briggs nee Nolan. Loving father of Matthew and Mitchell Briggs. Dear brother of Debra (John) Cipkar, Deana (Ron) Neal, Jillann (Mike) Marszalek and Jody (Holly) Briggs. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Elizabeth Stevens-Briggs and parents-in-law; John and Mary Lavin-Nolan.
