James Leslie Cast, age 84, of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 8, 2024. Beloved husband of 65 years to Audrey Cast nee Miller. Loving father of James P. (Sarah) Cast, Jeffrey (Susan-Marie) Cast, Linda Cast and Tricia (Matt) Ellison. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Lisa, Corrina, Phillip, Evelyn, Justin and Peyton and great-grandfather of Joseph, Jace, Junior, Jeena, Juliana, Charlotte, Allison, Audrey and Maevyn. Dear brother of Colin (Myrtle) Cast. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Mary and Harry Cast and his brothers Allen Cast and the late Larry Cast. James will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
