James Robert Flikkema, age 57, of Munster, IN, was received by the hand of our sovereign God to his eternal home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.  Brother of  Richard (Marcia) Flikkema, Denise (George) DeJong, and Patricia (William) DeJong.  Uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Preceded in death by his loving parents Winifred and Garret Flikkema.

Visitation Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, with services conducted by Rev. Audred Spriensma.  A private burial service will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.  At Jim’s request, memorial contributions may be given to Cornerstone Protestant Reformed Church or Elim Christian Services.  We commit our brother to our gracious heavenly Father, who does all things for the salvation of His children and the glory of His own Name.
