James G. Galligan, late of South Holland, IL formerly of the South Shore neighborhood. Passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010. Dearly loved husband of Eileen Galligan nee Mitchell. Devoted father of James Jr. (Sharon) Galligan, Philip (Nancy) Galligan and Eileen (Michael) Skalski. Proud grandfather of Erin (Jason), Anne (Evan) and Seth Galligan, Michael and Jennifer Galligan and Riley and Payton Skalski; Great grandfather of Ira and Nora. Preceded in death by his parents James and Blanche Galligan, one brother and two sisters. Fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL 60473.
