James R. Godowic age 88 of Steger, IL passed away on July 30, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Jacquelin Godowic nee Zumbahlen. Loving father of Jill (Jeff) Weier and James T. (Marge) Godowic. Cherished grandfather of Christopher (Katie) Weier, James Godowic, Katherine Weier, Kristen Godowic, Daniel Godowic and Cameron Weier. Great grandfather of Skyeleigh Godowic. Dear brother of Paul (Frankie Sue) Godowic, Raymond Godowic and the late Agnes Bergin. James was a veteran of WWII, a lifetime member of Steger V.F.W. Post #8283 and a Tool & Die Maker for Ford Motor Co. for over 30 Years.
