James E. Hawker, age 77, late of Glenwood, IL, formerly of St. Ignace, MI, passed away peacefully Monday, June 8, 2020.  Loving soulmate of Sheila A. Hawker, nee Pittman.  Best dad of Dawn Hawker-Forbes, Jimmy Hawker, Stacy Hawker, Jennifer (John) Cafarella, and Kelly Hawker.  Beloved papa of 19; greatest-papa of 10.  Dear brother of Sue Davies, late Tom (late Flo) Hawker, and the late Sr. Yvonne Hawker. Preceded in death by his parents Eldon and Patricia Hawker.

Visitation Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.
