James "Jim" N. Lagestee

James "Jim" Lagestee, age 76, of Frankfort, IL, left his earthly home to enter his Heavenly home on Monday, January 16, 2017. He now resides with his Lord Jesus Christ. Married for 57 years to his beloved wife Joyce (Van Der Aa). Loving father to Kim (Philip) Mulder and Tad (Sandra) Lagestee. Cherished grandfather "Papa" of Braden and Karlen Mulder, Samantha, Alexa, Caleb and Marc Lagestee. Dear brother of John Sr. (Evelyn) Lagestee, Robert (late Sharon) Lagestee and Willis (Nancy) Lagestee. Brother-in-law to Terry (Linda) Van Der Aa and the late John and Joan Van Der Aa. Son of the late Walt and Mary Lagestee. Visitation is on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Parkview Christian Church 11100 Orland Parkway Orland Park, IL (East Parking Lot) from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service following to be held at 6:00 p.m., also at Parkview Church, with Pastor Tim Harlow officiating and fellowship following after the service. Private Interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, IL on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In His God-given lifetime, Jim served on many civic, charitable and Christian boards and organizations. Jim's passionate contributions of love and impact were also given to Elim Christian School for handicapped children, Providence Life Services, and Parkview Christian Church. Jim was former partner of Walt's Food Centers and partner in Lagestee-Mulder Construction and Real Estate. Jim will be loved and remembered by many as he touched many lives. In lieu of flowers, Celebration of Life Contributions may be made to Elim Christian School (13020 S. Central, Palos Heights, IL 60463), Providence Life Services (18601 North Creek Drive #A, Tinley Park, IL 60477) and Parkview Christian Church (11100 Orland Parkway, IL 60467).
