James M. Junitz, age 75, of Griffith, IN passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Beloved husband of Donna S. Junitz, nee Carlson. Devoted father of Jennifer (James) Keenan, Patrick (Robyn) McKeague and Melinda McKeague. Proud grandfather of Paul (Tiffany), Kimberly (fiancé Brent), and Nathan McKeague; Great-grandfather of Kaylynn. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Rosie. Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Mary Junitz, nee Hek; sisters: Rose Ellen, Catherine, Ella; brothers: Ed and George. Mr. Junitz was a United States Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Calumet Humane Society (421 45th Ave. Munster, IN 46321) appreciated. Services will be private.
