James G. Kramer, age 69, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Dear brother of David (Beverly) Kramer. Loving uncle of David (Cynthia) Kramer, Karen (Adam) Clark, Steven (Carrie) Kramer, Michael (Kara) Kramer, and Thomas (Brittany) Kramer; and many great nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his infant sister Beth Ann Kramer, his niece Sadie Kramer and parents Benjamin and Evelyn Kramer. Visitation Friday, September 9, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30& Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN 46311. Funeral service Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Lynwood United Reformed Church (1990 E. Glenwood-Dyer Rd. Lynwood, IL 60411) with services conducted by Rev. Nick Alons. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. He was loved by so many who called him Uncle Jim!
