James E. Kucaj Sr., age 57, of DeMotte, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Loving husband of Cynthia Kucaj, nee Smith. Devoted father to Jimmy Kucaj, Austin Kucaj, and Shannon Kucaj. Dear brother of the late John Kucaj. Preceded in death by his parents John and Jacquelyn Kucaj.

Visitation Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a prayer service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St., South Holland, IL. Burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
