James D. Malkowski, age 64, of South Holland, Illinois, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026. Jim was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 18, 1961 to Dorothy (nee Cholewinski) and the late Donald Malkowski. Jim is survived by his sisters; Catherine (John) Landaiche, Donna (Mark) Rolih, and brother Robert (Barbara) Malkowski and three nieces; Jessica, Julie, and Nicole and one nephew, Michael. Also survived by lifelong friend Jim Olsen and dear friend Gina Howes.
Jim’s presence will be felt by his family every time they hear heavy metal music, played very loudly.
