James A. Mersereau

On Sunday, October 4, 2020, James A. Mersereau, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 60.  Jimmy was born on December 19, 1959 in Chicago, IL, to Marilee and Rene Mersereau.  He lived his life to the fullest every day and was proud of his work as a meat cutter at Meijer in Merrillville, IN.  On September 19, 2020 he married his love, Jamie, and he was the proud Dad of Shannon.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his Father, Rene.  He is survived by his Wife, Jamie, nee Klee, Daughter Shannon, Step-son Perry, Mother Marilee, Brothers Mike, Mark (Amber), Matt (Tammie), and a sister Nancy (Marc) Tompulis.  Many loving nieces , nephews, and friends.  Jimmy was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Schererville, IN, and a lifelong White Sox fan. Memorial service Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church 1538 Janice Dr. Schererville, IN, with Rev.
