MONTGOMERY James P. Montgomery, age 70, of Crete, IL. passed away April 26, 2010. Beloved husband of Brenda J. Montgomery nee Adams. Loving father of Jimmy (Tammy), Scott (Ruth), and Charlie Montgomery. Step-father of Kenny, Steven (Alison) and Kelly Knaack. Cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Don (Marge) Montgomery and brother-in-law of Roxanne (Ron) Wicklund. Memorial Service will be Saturday May 29th from 9-12:00 with a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd)Mr. Montgomery was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co. in Chicago Heights, U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Crete American Legion.
