James Robert "Bob" Murks 74, of Crete, Illinois passed away peacefully on June 5, 2016.Beloved husband of Faye Murks nee Barnette. Loving father Patricia "Patty" (Steve) Gifford and Tammy Murks. Cherished grandpa of Steve Jr., Josiah (Corinne), Rachel (Caesar) Roberts and Ben. Great grandpa of Declan, Aidan, Seamus and Charlotte Gifford, Paisley and Kaden Roberts. Dear brother of Eythel Scott, Nell (Milton) Newton, Paul David (Evelyn) Murks, and Donnie (Jennifer) Murks. Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Eugene, Joyce Ann Thigpen and Junior. Bob retired from the Ford Stamping Plant as a Powerhouse Operator.
