James T. Penney Jr., age 64, of Crete, Illinois, passed away on December 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Tricia Penney nee Naden. Loving father of James III (Bettina) Penney, Jeremy (Shawna) Penney, Ryan Stewart. Step-father of David Shelly and Jennifer Shelly. Cherished grandfather of James IV, Michael, Kayla, Emma, Sophia and Koda. Great grandfather of Brooklynn, Alanna and James V. Loving son of Georgia Anna (late James Sr.) Penney. Dear brother of Barbara (late Richard) Derouin and the late Ernest Penney. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. James was a proud US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
