James W. Sprouse, age 80 of Steger, IL. passed away peacefully, October 15, 2017. Beloved husband of Sandy for 43 years; loving father of the late Kimala Sprouse, Tom Denny, James Denny, Dana Sprouse, Tracy Sprouse, Stacy Sprouse, Cathy (Darneil) Avant and Jason (Megan) Sprouse; adoring grandfather of Brian, Heather, Josh, T.J., Elizabeth, Shelly, Autumn, Alyssa, Jarred, Matthew, Austin, Chantal, Olivia, Reshanna, Alliyah, Kailey, Danny, Evelyn, Sophia, and Christopher; 7 great grandchildren; dearest brother of Larry Sprouse, Johnny Sprouse, Bobby Sprouse, Dorothy Sanders and Peggy Moody; cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Ocie Sprouse and four brothers Donnie, Ronnie, Jerry, J.C., and Junior Sprouse, two sisters Ruth and Ruby.
