James J. Sylvester, age 92 of Steger, Illinois, formerly of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27th 2016. Beloved husband of the late Adaline Sylvester nee Charletta. Cherished uncle of Fred (Angela) Sylvester with whom he lived with for the past 25 years. Dear friend of many years to Nancy Erikson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by parents, sister and four brothers. Jim worked for Savoia’s Restaurant and Banco Foods for many years.
