James N. Wiltjer

James N. Wiltjer, age 83, of St. John, IN, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.  Beloved husband of the late Nancy J. Wiltjer, nee Robinson. Loving father of Susan Reinsma, James (Jill) Wiltjer, and Jill (John) Boender.  Cherished grandfather of Janna (Taylor) Boice, Jori Ottenhoff, Marcus (Hope) Ottenhoff, Maya Reinsma, Seth (Katelynn) Wiltjer, Deanna (Adam) Beezhold, Jaclyn (Solomon) David, Jacob (Jill) Boender, and Joshua Boender and great-grandfather of Seth, Josie, Quinn, Ryne, Rhys, Beau, Vince, Jesse, Robin and Rachel. Dear brother of Bettie (late Bob) Triezenberg, late Bob (Theresa) Wiltjer, and the late Rich (late Marilyn) Wiltjer.  Kind uncle to several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Grace Wiltjer.

Visitation Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Munster Church 214 Ridge Road Munster, IN, with Rev. Jim Hollendoner officiating.  Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Illiana Christian High School ( illianachristian.org ) or Munster Church Missions ( munster.church/ ).
