Janet M. Gartland, nee Hughes age 75, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully Friday, April 18, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Bernard J. "Mike" Gartland. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Figiel, Diane Gartland, Mary Gartland, Pamela (fiance Bob Brook) Gartland, and Michelle Gartland. Proud nana of Michael, Jessica, Kelsie, Karlie, and Emma; Great-nana of Ethan. Dearest sister of Eileen (late James) Molloy, John "Jack" (late Judith) Hughes, Joan (late Paul) Heneghan, Patricia (late James) Lassandrello, Suzanne (James) Moran, Diane (late Robert) Brennan, David (Judy) Hughes, the late Mary (late John) Walsh, William Hughes, Bernice (late Thomas) Sullivan, James (late Mary Helen) Hughes, Walter (late Ethel) Hughes, Barbara (late William) Dorsey, and the late Michael (Gloria) Hughes.
