Janice Lynn Abel, nee Mugg, age 62, of Thornton, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Beloved wife of Eduard Abel. Loving mother of Christine Abel. Cherished grandmother of Amelia Abel. Dear sister of Laurie (Steven) Michels. Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Betty Lou Mugg.
Private services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
