Jean Helmus

Jean Helmus, nee Persenaire, age 95 of Crete, IL, entered eternal life May 4, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Harry Helmus. Loving mother of Dennis, Randy (Marilyn) and Scott (Beverly) Helmus. Cherished grandmother of five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sisters Gertrude Sinew, May Van Der Aa and Betty Blauw. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial service to be held at 3:00 p.m, May 15, 2023 at Oak Glen United Reformed Church 2244 Indiana Ave, Lansing, IL 60438. Interment was held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL.
