Jean L. Janusz

Jean L. Janusz, nee Targos, age 91, late of Crete, formerly of Dolton, and the Grand Crossing neighborhood, passed away peacefully in her home, Monday, October 23, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Alexander G. Janusz. Loving mother of Thomas (Denise), James (Judy), Alex (Debbie), and the late Robert Janusz. Proud and cherished grandma of Elise (Scott) Coon, Garrett (Beth) Janusz, Brandon Janusz, and Steven (Samantha) Janusz; and great-busia of Evelyn, Emory, Isaac, Payton, Ada, and Sylvie Jean. Dearest sister of Frank (Pat) Targos, and the late Stanley Targos, Mae (late Graham) Reese, (late Wally) Mikos, and Wallace (late Ann) Targos. Kind and loving aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Targos. Mom was a strong woman, with a kind heart, who worried about everyone. She enjoyed providing a warm home and plenty of food to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, many dear friends, and neighbors. Dyer, IN, to St. Joseph Church (440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN) for 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Ted Mauch officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
