Jeffery Kostro

Jeffery Kostro, age 55, of Dyer, IN, suddenly, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.  Loving husband of Paula J. Kostro, nee Townsend.  Devoted father of Sydney Kostro, Faith Kostro, Gina (Ethan) Peña, Joey Cardinale, Lily Kostro, and Bobby Kostro.  Beloved son of Stanley “Butch” and Diane Kostro.  Dear brother of Ken Kostro, Curt (Jennifer) Kostro, Kim (Patrick Flynn) Kostro, Diana Townsend, and Laura Townsend.  Preceded in death by Uncle Bob, namesake for his son Bobby.  Jeff loved and adored his family before anything, his devoted pup Alice, and he loved his motorcycle, cooking, video games, fantasy football, the Eagles, Titos, and without a doubt Costco.  He was loved by his family, many friends, and will be truly missed.

Visitation Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Pastor Greg Lee officiating.
