Jeffrey P. Collins

Jeffrey  P. Collins, age 59, of Mohawk, MI, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025.  Loving son of Carole and the late Henry Collins Jr.  Dearest brother of Pamela Collins.  Kind nephew of Marion (Bruce) Schmidlin.  Also survived by several cousins, and dear friend, Pamela Renee “PR” Collins.  Jeff enjoyed searching for waterfalls, car shows, being in the World Series of Poker, a dart league, and mostly his beloved corgis Pebbles and BamBam.  Jeff was loved by his family, and many friends, and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Monday, March 3, 2025 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Prayer service Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. from Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, to St. Joseph Catholic Church 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN, for a 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass with Rev. Leo Gajardo and Deacon Gary Blue officiating.  Interment Saturday, June 5, 2025 at Lake View Cemetery – Calumet, MI.
