Jeffrey S. DeYoung, age 44, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Beloved husband of Tracy DeYoung, nee Boender.  Loving father of Jenna and Matthew.  Devoted son of Jim and Sue DeYoung; son-in-law of James and Linda Boender. Dear brother of Jim (Kristen) DeYoung. Brother-in-law of Todd (Sheila) Boender.  Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Jeff was a Police Sergeant for the South Holland Police Department with 21 years of dedicated service.  He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Munster Church, 214 Ridge Road, Munster, IN. Visitation also on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Munster Church with Rev. Jim Hollendoner officiating.  Interment Maplewood Cemetery – Crown Point, IN. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
