Jerry D. Owens

Jerry D. Owens, age 89, of Steger, IL passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.  Beloved husband of the late Erma Owens, nee Ponder.  Loving father of Randy (Dawn) Owens and Lisa (Tom) Frizzell.  Cherished grandfather of Kori (Adam) Vasquez, the late Anthony, Kayla, and Erica Harper; great-grandfather of Cloe, Stanley, and Lily Konczel; great-great-grandfather of Evelyn Bremen.  Preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and by his parents Obe and Cecil Owens.  Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
