Joan M. Hope, age 75, of Crete, IL, passed away peacefully November 1, 2015. Beloved wife of John Hope. Loving mother of Thomas (Diane), Constance, and Alan (Thresa) Hope, Sharon (Jim) Umland, and Kathie (David) Absher. Cherished grandmother of Bart, Alex, Gabriel, Isaiah, Alyssa, Elijah, Kiera, Allison, Kasey, Nicole, Alex, David Jr, Andy, Megan and Hannah. Fond sister of Myra (Bob) Capone. Joan was preceded by her dear brother, Jimmy Agate. Visitation Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois. Funeral Mass Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Liborius Catholic Church - 3440 Halsted Blvd. Steger, IL. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery - Calumet City, IL.
