Joan L. Ruiz, nee Lux, age 64, of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Beloved wife of John Ruiz. Loving mother of Amanda (James) Blackman and Adam Ruiz. Cherished grandmother of Delilah and Amelia Blackman. Dear sister of Carol, nee Lux (Ronald) Roothame and Lorraine, nee Lux (late Raymond) Blachowicz. Kind aunt of Michael (Karen Smith) Dickover, Deanna (Jeremy) Tirrell, Mary (Brian) Norris, and Jeffrey Blachowicz. Dear sister-in-law of Oralia Ruiz and Amy nee Ruiz (Albert) Martinez. Joan will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
