Joann Van Der Heyden

Joann Van Der Heyden, nee Van Drunen, age 96 of South Holland, IL passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late Isaac Van Der Heyden.  Loving mother of Clarence, Isaac Jr., and Beth (Ben) DeYoung.  Devoted grandmother to Benjamin (Jenna) DeYoung and Nathan (fianc é e Megan) DeYoung, and two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Noah DeYoung.  Dear sister of Milton (Annamae) Van Drunen, late Bess (late Hilbert) Bult, late Flora Hawkins, and Pearl (late Quirinius) Reynhout.  Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Joann was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St.) South Holland, IL.  Funeral Service, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at First Christian Reformed Church of South Holland, 16248 South Park Ave., South Holland, IL with services conducted by Rev. Daniel Svendsen.  Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL.  Memorial contributions may be given to Elim Christian Services or Bethshan Association .
